Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome: Launch your Google Chrome browser.
2. Access Search Settings:
   • Type chrome://settings/search into the address bar and press Enter.
3. Disable the Extension:
   • Within the "Search" settings, if an extension is controlling your search engine, locate the option to disable it and click "Disable."
4. Restart Chrome (optional): Close and reopen Chrome to ensure that the changes have taken effect.

Microsoft Edge

1. Open Edge: Launch your Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Access Search Settings:
   • Type edge://settings/search into the address bar and press Enter.
3. Manage Search Engine:
   • Look for the option labeled “Search engine used in the address bar.”
4. Disable Unwanted Extension:
   • If an extension is managing your search engine, there should be an option to "Turn Off" or manage it from this page.
5. Alternative Path:
   • Click on the three dots in the upper right corner, select “Settings.”

Yandex Browser

1. Open Yandex Browser: Launch your Yandex Browser.
2. Access Search Engine Settings:
   • Type browser://settings/searchEngines into the address bar and press Enter.
3. Disable Extension:
   • Find the option to “Disable” any extension or settings that are managing your search engine.
4. Alternative Path:
   • Open “Settings.”
   • Navigate to “Search engine settings” to manage your search engine preferences.
